Congratulations Winners of the This year the GWCF 4thAnnual Meeting & Top Chef Cook-Off competition was again held at the Bethany Baptist Church located at 959 Bulen Avenue, on April 24, 2010. Lots of fun & fellowship was shared as family, friends, neighbors & many of the eastside community residents who participated. 8 contestants competed in 4 food categories: Appetizer/Beverage, Entrees, Side Dish & Dessert. Four winners from last year's '2009 Top Chef' competition competed to become the 2010 Top Chef Master. In conclusion, 4 winners were crowned Top Chefs and one Master Chef was voted the overall best cook. Each winner received a prize package & of course the title of Top Chef. 2010 GWCF Volunteer of the Year - Patricia Lane
Ms. Lane serves as a mentor for the "Just Between Us" Mentoring Program. This year, Ms. Lane signed up for her third JBUMP session. After completing this session, Pat will have served a total of six years and provided guidance to four young ladies. |
